Yamaha introduced a new low profile 3D compatible 7.1-channel digital sound projector, featuring Yamaha’s proprietary YSP front surround sound technology for the ultimate home theater listening experience.
Yamaha YSP-2200 is only 3.5-inch tall and packs 16 speaker beam drivers each with its own digital amplifier, along with a 100 watt bass-reflex subwoofer. It offer a 7.1 surround sound without any extra speakers via Yamaha’s YSP technology, features 11 CINEMA DSP programs – three Movie, three Music programs and five additional Entertainment settings, including gaming friendly programe and offers decoding of HD Audio signals like DTS-HD and Dolby TrueHD.
Yamaha’s new sound-bar also include 3 in/1 out HDMI v.1.4a for transmitting 3D video signals, Music Enhancer function, which improves the sound of compressed sources such as MP3, UniVolume feature which maintains a consistent volume level between different channels, programmes, commercials and input sources, and is CEC compatible which means that when it is connected to a CEC-compatible TV, it will turn on and off simultaneously with the TV.
The Yamaha YSP-2200 comes with height-adjustable feet, also dock port and carries an MSRP of $999.95.
