FujiFilm revealed a new premium digital camera with retro style design which is based on 12.3 megapixel APS-C CMOS sensor, Fuji EXR processor, a FUJINON 23mm Single Focal Length Fixed F2 lens and the world’s first Hybrid Viewfinder.
The FinePix X100’s body is inspired by the classic cameras and has been finished with high-quality leather-like accents, the top cover of the upper control deck and the bottom surface have been die-cast from magnesium alloy and all dials and rings are precision milled from metal. It is equipped with 2.8-inch LCD 460K display and features Hybrid Viewfinder that combines the window-type “bright frame” optical viewfinder found in rangefinder-type film cameras with the electronic viewfinder system and allowing instantly to be switche between optical and electronic viewfinder modes using the simple “one touch” control.
FinePix X100 is capable of 720p video recording, has an ISO sensitivity of 200 to 6400 (can be expanded to include 100 and 12800), choice between the 49-point auto EVF focus area or the 25-point OVF auto focus, support shooting in RAW format and has mini HDMI connector. Additional features include Motion Panorama function for 180° and 120° panoramic photos and Multi-Bracketing Functions which includes AE, ISO, Dynamic Range and Film Simulation.
