Audio specialist Klipsch, has announced the launch of its new Icon series speakers, boosted by company’s Tractrix Horn technology, re-engineered drivers and a new crossover system.
The new line replaces company’s previous Icon V series and come finished in a black ash woodgrain vinyl veneer. The upgrades also include new logos and feet. IMG woofers for a “highly defined, accurate bass response.” Available in five new models, the Icon series includes two floorstanding towers (KF-28 and KF-26) speakers, one bookshelf model (KB-15), one center channel (KC-25), and one surround sound speaker (KS-14) which also features Wide Dispersion Surround Technology (WDST), giving “maximum surround coverage and improved placement flexibility.”
The Klipsch Icon speakers will be sold exclusively in Best Buy stores from May 22, priced at $699 (KF-26) and $899 (KF-28) for a pair of floorstanding speakers, $249 for a pair of bookshelf models (KB-15), $249 for a center channel and $279(KS-14) for a pair of surrounds. Klipsch also offers matching SW-350 and SW-450 subwoofers which are now available for $350 and $450, respectively.
