Dell revealed more details for its upcoming Windows 7 based tablet, named Latitude ST. This business-oriented tablet has a 10.1-inch (1366 x 768) multi-touch display with a stylus support and toughened with Gorilla Glass, it is powered by a 1.5GHz Atom Z670 processor, has 2GB of RAMand up to 128GB SSD storage.
It also offers the mandatory connectivity options like WiFi, an SD card slot, USB and HDMI ports, as well as optional 3G module, a front and rear webcams are also in the specs and a battery that enables up to seven hours of operation. For better protection, Dell’s new tablet is enriched with durability features such as a rubberized bumper and TPU overmold, and security features like remote hard drive wipe, Microsoft Bitlocker and a Kensington Lock slot.
Dell Latitude ST is set to go on sale on November 1, and the company will also launch a compatible docking station, as well as other handy accessories.
