Samsung releases WB150F digital camera

Samsung is going to release a new digital camera dubbed WB150F that comes with impressive wireless capabilities.

The new camera was first shown at CES 2012 earlier this month but now it is time for the camera to go on sale. The novelty comes with a full 14-megapixel picture quality, 18x wide zoom lens and an AMOLED display with VGA (640×480 pixel) resolution.

What makes the camera unique is its wireless connectivity. The Samsung WB150F can automatically backup and upload your clicked photographs to the Samsung AllShare Play cloud service or Microsoft SkyDrive. Users can also e-mail the clicked photos right from the camera and share them on social networking sites like Facebook or Picasa and even upload recorded videos directly to YouTube. The camera is capable of video recording at 720p with 30 fps.

Another unique feature is the Split Shot function that actually divides the display into three separate sections and allows you to frame a different image in each of them. Once all the frames are captured, it combines a frame. In addition there’s a built-in image editing capability.

The new Samsung WB150F will be commercially available in South Korea starting this week with colors in black, white and red. As to the price the new digital camera will cost approximately 263 USD.
