3D technology has become more and more available to users lately but unfortunately it is still out of range to budget users and people who don’t want to spend a lot of cash on it. Hopefully there’s a new product on the market that allows users to watch in 3D with the help of a special lens that converts laptops into 3D ones.
The novelty, created by Spatial View, is called 3DeeScreen and allows the average Joe to watch 3D content without glasses on a standard 15.6-inch laptop. All you need to do is attach the lens and install the accompanying software and then you can watch 3D videos and photos as well as Blu-Ray movies using third party players. The playback has been realized in such a way that it uses eye-tracking software to automatically track the user’s viewing position and adjust the 3D image projection to maintain optimal viewing quality, reducing the possibility of crosstalk and ghosting. This way users won’t have to be motionless in front of the laptop or search for the optimal spot.
In addition the 3DeeScreen includes Spatial View’s 3DeeCentral application which allows the user to access the 3DeeCentral online store for free and pay-per-view content.
3D enthusiasts can obtain 3DeeScreen for 129.99 USD. As of now the 3DeeScreen lens supports 15.6-inch laptops with 1080p and 720p resolutions produced by Dell and HP. The laptop must also be running Windows 7.
