Nokia has been preparing a cheap Windows Phone mobile device, known as Lumia 610 that is expected to hit markets in a little while.
Rumors of this device have been on and off around the Internet but this is the first time specs of the upcoming Nokia Lumia 610 have been revealed.
According to an unnamed Nokia employee the Lumia 610 will be a budget mobile device running Windows Phone, perhaps the cheapest device of this kind, and this is the reason why it will be less featured than other devices also belonging to the Lumia line. The available information describes the Lumia 610 as a mobile phone with just 256 MB of RAM and a 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash.
The smartphone will also feature a 3.5-inch capacitive touchscreen display, perhaps based on Nokia ClearBlack technology. Other premium features will likely be cut down in order for the phone to enter the budget category. Still the Lumia 610 will be the first Nokia device running the next version of Windows Phone known as Tango.
The source has also disclosed some more curious information – the Lumia 610 will be the second Nokia smartphone running Windows Phone Tango.
If true this would mean that the Finnish communications giant has prepared more Windows Phone Tango devices which will see the light of day shortly.
