The Chinese telecommunications company ZTE has announced a new budget-oriented smartphone named Score M that specifically targets the North American MetroPCS Communications mobile carrier.
The new smartphone weighs 136 grams, measures 112x62x13.7 mm and runs under Android 2.3 Gingerbread.
Other specs include a 3.5-inch 480×320 pixel display with HVGA support, a 600 MHz processor, 4 GB of storage capacity, a microSD card slot (up to 32 GB), a rear 3.2 MP camera, 802.11 b/g Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.1, GPS and a USB port.
The new Score M smartphone will cost just 49 USD with a contract.
There’s no information on whether this smartphone will debut in other parts of the world.
