The India based electronics company Micromax has unveiled a 7-inch tablet that targets the Indian market.
Called Funbook, the tablet sports a 7-inch touchscreen display (800 x 480) and runs on a 1.2 GHz ARM Cortex A8 processor. Based on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, the slate also comes with an unusual graphics solution – a dual-core Mali GPU.
Other specs include 512 MB of RAM, 4 GB of storage, 0.3 MP front camera, microSD card slot, Wi-Fi, USB 2.0, HDMI and a 2800 mAh battery as well as educational software, Tata Photon+ 3G USB dongle and 1 GB of free data for 2 months.
The new tablet will cost approximately 128 USD and may be launched across the world later on.
