The Japanese company Denon has surprised music lovers with the addition of two new headphones to its product list – the in-ear AH-C300 and the over-ear AH-D400.
The in-ear AH-C300 headphones use Denon’s proprietary Double Air Compression Driver technology with twin 11 mm drivers mounted in parallel to provide the bass-heavy audio preferred by techno, trance, hip-hop and drum ‘n’ bass fans. The AH-C300 also comes with an integrated control wheel and compatibility with all Apple iDevices. The integrated wheel control gives you full control over music playback and the microphone set into the cable lets you use the headset for voice calls. Each pair comes with several different ear tip sizes, so you should find the right fit regardless of the size of your ears. The AH-C300 is available now for 200 GBP.
The other new product is the over-ear AH-D400 headset. It comes with amplified 50 mm dynamic drivers designed to deliver deep, controlled bass, an integrated volume control dial and microphone on one ear and LED illuminated earcups to create “aggressive styling”. The battery that is inside can be recharged over micro-USB and provides up to 12 hours of constant listening. The AH-D400 costs 250 GBP.
Finally both headphone sets come with Denon’s Club App – company software that provides the user with one-touch access to song lyrics, updates to Facebook and Twitter with currently playing tracks, custom playlists and pre-sets and Internet radio.
