The Japanese digital camera maker Nikon has announced a new 20.1 MP camera under the brand name Coolpix S3500. The novelty will join the company’s compact digital camera line and will be available in pink, silver, black, red, orange, violet, violet with patterns and blue with patterns.
Apart from the 20.1 MP sensor the Coolpix S3500 comes with NIKKOR lens with 7x optical zoom (focal length of 26-182 mm in 35 mm equivalent), a 2,7-inch display, 25 MB of internal memory and a slot for external SD/SDHC/SDXC memory cards. The camera also has an anti-vibration system, sensitivity of ISO 80-3200, shutter speed of 1/2000-4s and support for 720p video recording. As expected you also get 18 pre-set modes, a Smart Portrait system and smile and blink detection.
Sales will start next week with the Nikon Coolpix S3500 selling for USD 200.
