HTC releases One Dual SIM smartphone

HTC has presented a new version of its flagship smartphone – the HTC One – that supports two SIM cards. As expected the novelty carries the One Dual SIM product name in order to highlight its main peculiarity.

On the outside the HTC One Dual SIM measures 137.4 x 68.2 x 9.3 mm and weights 143 grams but it is on the inside where the magic begins – the HTC One Dual SIM comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 quad-core processor at 1.7 GHz, Adreno 320 graphics, 2 GB of RAM, 32 GB or 64 GB of internal storage, a microSD card slot and 802.11n Wi-Fi. The smartphone also supports Bluetooth 4.0 and has DLNA, a GPS receiver and a 2300 mAh battery.

A major feature of the HTC One Dual SIM is the addition of a high quality 4 MP rear camera (2688 x 1520 pixel resolution) that collects 300 per cent more light when compared to other smartphone cameras. The camera also offers a BSI sensor, Smart Flash technology, 1080p video recording and ImageChip 2 technology. But the HTC One Dual SIM does not end here – the smartphone arrives with two integrated speakers that support HTC BoomSound technology by Beats Audio and two microphones. Finally the smartphone runs Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean.

The HTC One Dual SIM is now available in China with a version for Russia coming soon. Customers in other countries will soon get the phone on local markets too. As to pricing in Russia the smartphone will sell for 29 990 RUB, which is about USD 960. Pricing is likely to be significantly lower in other countries.
