The Internet has seen a new portion of specs of the upcoming Sony Xperia i1 (Honami) smartphone. According to the latest information the device will come housed in a rugged chassis that will make it resistant to dust and water and will fully support the IPX-5 and IPX-7 standards.
Measuring 144 x 73.9 x 8.3 mm the Sony Xperia i1 will come with a powerful Snapdragon 800 processor with four processing cores at 2.2 GHz, a built-in Adreno 330 GPU, a 5-inch Triluminos display at Full HD resolution (1920 x 1080 pixels), 2 GB of RAM, 16 GB of internal memory, a microSD card slot, a BSI CMOS sensor with 20.3 MP of sensitivity, a BIONZ processor, NFC, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and a 3000 mAh battery. The Xperia i1 will run Android 4.2 Jelly Bean.
The new Sony smartphone will arrive in early September. Its pricing is still unknown.
