HTC has announced plans to release a new budget oriented smartphone, codenamed Zara. The smartphone will offer a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor with two Krait cores at 1.4 GHz and built-in Adreno 305 graphics.
The HTC Zara will come with a 4.5-inch sensor display at qHD resolution (960 x 540 pixels), 1 GB of RAM, 8 GB of internal memory, a microSD/SDHC card slot, a rear UltraPixel camera and a front 1.6 MP camera, HTC Sense 5 and Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean.
Interested? Don’t get too excited. The HTC Zara will hit the US market first with Sprint providing the smartphones. As of now there’s no word on any market availability in any other country. Pricing is also unknown.
