The Taiwanese motherboard maker ASRock and Jonathan “Fatal1ty” Wendell have announced together a new company motherboard that targets hardcore gamers and computer enthusiasts. The Intel Z87-based Fatal1ty Z87 Killer motherboard offers everything you may need and then more.
Designed for Intel’s Haswell processor the motherboard comes with an 8-phase power supply system, premium capacitors and Gaming Armor technology for more sturdiness and high performance.
The Fatal1ty Z87 Killer offers four DDR3-3050+ memory slots for up to 32 GB of RAM, three PCI-E 3.0 x16 slots with support for Quad SLI and Quad CrossFireX, four PCI-E 2.0 x1 slots and six SATA 3.0 ports for RAID arrays. In addition the motherboard has D-Sub and DVI-D outputs, HDMI, four USB 3.0 and three USB 3.0 ports, audio jacks, a PS/2 port, an RJ-45 port and more. Finally the Realtek ALC1150 codec provides great quality sound for everyone. The new ASRock motherboard also offers Xfast 555 technology – Xfast RAM, Xfast LAN and Xfast USB for improved performance when transferring data.
Pricing is unknown at the moment but the motherboard will not be cheap.
