The Chinese Huawei has been known for making smartphones but the company also designs and sells phablets and other mobile devices – for example tablets.
Just a short while after the announcement of the Ascend P6S and Ascend Mate 2 Huawei plans to release a new tablet known as MediaPad X1. The device comes with some decent specs that include a 7-inch display at 1920 x 1200 pixels, 323 PPI, a 1.6 GHz Hisilicon 910 Kirin processor, 2 GB of RAM and Mali-450 GPU for graphics. What’s even better is that the upcoming MediaPad X1 will be a very thin and light device measuring just 7.5 mm thick.
Unfortunately from what we hear the Huawei MediaPad X1 will run Android 4.2, which is getting pretty old. In addition there’s no information on the official release date of the new Huawei tablet.
