The Korean Samsung has finally exhibited its highly-awaited Galaxy Tab4 tablets after weeks of speculation.
There are two models – the Galaxy Tab4 7.0 and Galaxy Tab4 8.0 with both devices being available in white or black colors. The Galaxy Tab4 7.0 is the smaller model of the two. It measures 107.9 x 186.9 x 9 mm and weighs 276 grams. The device is equipped with a dual-core processor at 1.2 GHz, a 7-inch sensor display at WXGA resolution (1280 x 800 pixels), 1.5 GB of Ram, 8 or 16 GB of built-in memory, a microSD card slot, a rear 3 MP camera, a front 1.3 MP camera, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and Android 4.4 KitKat with the company’s TouchWiz shell.
The Galaxy Tab4 8.0 comes with a larger 8-inch display and this is why it measures 124 x 210 x 7.95 mm for total weight of 320 grams. The tablet comes with a quad-core processor at 1.2 GHz, an 8-inch display at WXGA resolution (1280 x 800 pixels), 1.5 GB of RAM, 16 GB of internal memory, a microSD card slot, a rear 3 MP camera, a front 1.3 MP camera, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and Android 4.4 KitKat with the company’s TouchWiz shell.
The pricing of both tablets is not known but they should appear on the mass market by the end of this quarter.
