You may not have heard of it but Harman Kardon is a famous maker of high end home and car audio equipment. If you want to have one of their high-end sound systems you can purchase a high-end and expensive notebook – chances are it will have one. Now there’s a cheaper way though – just purchase LG’s Tone Infinim stereo headset.
Yes, it is true – LG and Harman Kardon have teamed up to create the Tone Infinim. Codenamed HSB-900, the device uses Bluetooth technology and will appear on the market this summer. As with other Harman Kardon hardware the Tone Infinim boasts a sleek profile with a curved design and a metallic finish. The headset uses wires but they have been reduced to the max. In addition to that it includes a fast forward, rewind, volume, play/pause and a call button as well as sound and vibration alert functions to inform users of an incoming message, the current time, battery status and more.
An exclusive feature of the LG Tone Infinim stereo headset is Answer Me+, which works when you connect the Tone Infinim to LG’s G3 smartphone. It automatically disconnects the Tone Infinim when you lift the smartphone near the ear of the user for direct use.
All this hardware gets powered by a 220 mAh battery that can deliver up to 17 hours of talk time, 14 hours of audio play time and around 550 hours of standby time. The Tone Infinim can be connected to other devices via micro-USB and is available in silver only as of now. More colors will appear later.
The price of the Tone Infinim is not known just yet.
