The US maker of powerful gaming computers Maingear has prepared a new solution for gamers who have too much free time this summer. The new company product is a compact gaming PC and it comes with the Torq brand name.
The new gaming PC comes in a cube-based chassis that measures 345 x 273 x 285 mm but despite its humble dimensions it packs powerful hardware. Expect to get a fast Intel Core i7-4790 processor at 3.6 GHz (4.0 GHz in Turbo Mode) but for people with more cash Maingear has prepared the blazingly fast Core i7-4790K Devil’s Canyon chip at 4.0 GHz (4.4 GHz in Turbo Mode). There’s also a version with the same chip overclocked to 5.0 GHz, if you have the money, of course, but this one comes with liquid cooling.
The rest of the hardware specs can easily impress you – the Torq comes with a GeForce GTX Titan Z graphics card or AMD Radeon R9 295X2 video solution, up to 16 GB of RAM, a 4 TB hard drive, a 1 TB SSD, 802.11ac Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, a Gigabit Ethernet port and an 860W power supply unit by Corsair. As expected there are HDMI, DisplayPort, eSATA, S/PDIF ports as well as four USB 3.0 and four USB 2.0 ports. Three fans are responsible for the case cooling.
The base configuration of the Maingear Torq gaming PC starts at USD 1600 while the top one will cost you USD 7700.
