The Japanese Panasonic has enhanced its Lumix product portfolio with a new camera that is called DMC-FZ1000.
The new camera measures 137 x 99 x 131 mm and weighs 831 grams. It offers an excellent 20.1 MP sensor and a powerful Venus Engine image processor. The combination allows the Lumix DMC-FZ1000 to be ready for photo shooting 0.66 seconds after being turned on, while automatic focusing needs just 0.09 seconds of time. The camera can also shoot pics at 12 FPS.
The rest of the specs include ISO 12 800 (25 600 in enhanced mode), a 3-inch movable LCD display with 920 000 pixels, F2.8-4.0/25mm-400mm LEICA DC VARIO-ELMARIT lens as well as Wi-Fi, HDMI and NFC. As if this is not enough the Lumix DMC-FZ1000 can record video in QFHD (4K) format at 30 FPS.
The new Panasonic camera will be on the market at the end of July when it can be yours for USD 899.
