The Japanese notebook maker Fujitsu will soon release two new business-oriented notebooks called Lifebook E554/J and Lifebook E544/J. The new notebooks sport high performance, a long battery life and a high level of data protection.
The novelties offer either a 14-inch display (E544/J) or a standard 15.6-inch display (E554/J). As expected from a new model the new Fujitsu Lifebook models use mobile Intel Haswell processors. Users can get two Core i3 chips – the dual-core Core i3-4000M at 2.4 GHz and the dual-core Core i3-4100M at 2.5 GHz as well as two mobile Core i5 Haswell chips – the dual-core Intel Core i5-4210M at 2.6 GHz (3.2 GHz Turbo) and the dual-core Intel Core i5-4310M processor at 2.7 GHz (3.4 GHz Turbo). The new Fujitsu computers also allow users to get up to 16 GB of DDR3 SDRAM, a 500 GB hard drive or a 256 GB SSD, a DVD-RW optical drive, 802.11ac Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, an optional fingerprint scanner and a HD web camera.
The new Fujitsu E554/J and E544/J run Windows 7 Professional or Windows 8.1. The notebooks are expected to reach the market by the end of June 2014 where they will cost USD 2053 (E554/J) and USD 2393 (E544/J).
