The Taiwanese hardware maker MSI has demonstrated its latest Windows 8.1 tablet. The device is called S100 and comes with a keyboard and a protective cover that make it the best multi-functional tablet in creativity and productivity, at least according to MSI.
The new S100 sports a display that is 10.1 inches in size and works at 1280 x 800 pixels. The tablet is powered by an Intel Bay Trail-T Z3740D processor that runs at 1.33 GHz. The chip provides both high performance and low power consumption thanks to which the S100 can work for up to 10 hours. There’s also 2 GB of DDR3L memory and 64 GB of internal memory as well as one rear camera at 2 MP and one front camera, again at 2 MP. A 1W speaker provides sound. Thanks to this solid hardware profile and Windows 8.1, the S100 tablet can handle multiple tasks and deliver an immersive entertainment experience.
The new MSI tablet weighs just 890 grams and can be easily carried around. Unfortunately there’s no information on when the tablet will be on the market and how much it will cost.
