The acclaimed memory maker G.Skill has released the world’s fastest DDR4 desktop memory, clocked at the insane 3333 MHz. The new memory comes as a 16 GB quad-channeled kit (4 x 4 GB) and operates at the nice 16-16-16-36 latencies, which are fully validated on the newest ASUS Rampage V Extreme X99-based motherboard.
G.Skill also offers other DDR4 memory modules that operate at 3300 MHz (4 x 4 GB) and 3200 MHz (4 x 4 GB). All models come in black heat spreaders and will be available on September 5th on Newegg.com. The rest of the world will get the new memory “very soon”.
Unfortunately the DDR4-3333 memory is not cheap at all. The 16 GB kit can be had now for USD 699.99.
