The Taiwanese maker of memory and storage solutions ADATA has presented its latest product – the SR1010 solid-state drive line, designed for use with corporate customers. The new drives offer a 2.5-inch form factor, 7 mm of thickness, support for SATA 3.0 and capacities of 100 GB, 240 GB and 480 GB.
The SR1010 line is based on the Seagate SF2581 controller and uses MLC NAND flash memory. The drives reach up to 550 MB/sec of read speed and 73 000 IOPS when reading and 45 000 IOPS when writing. The drives also make use of various technologies that include TRIM, NCQ, S.M.A.R.T., NVMe and AHCI. The built-in error correction capability is also worth noting as well as the low power consumption – the SR1010 needs 4.1W when operating and just 2.25W when in idle mode.
The SR1010 line comes with a 5-year warranty but it is unclear how much these drives cost.
