Apple may present budget-oriented smartphone next year

Apple has always been an interesting company to follow and all news and press statements that come out of the Cupertino-based enterprise create a lot of speculation online and in real life. The recent news that Apple plans to retire the iPhone 5c and iPhone 4s models is not an exception as this will cause a number of significant changes in the Apple portfolio for next year.

Retiring the iPhone 5c and 4s means that Apple will no longer have budget-oriented smartphones on the market next year because the iPhone 6 will still be the flagship device the company offers, followed closely by the older but still powerful iPhone 5s. Clearly the fruit-named company needs a new solution and this might be a new budget smartphone, analysts say. They even mention the screen size – four inches. The new device, if it exists at all, will be either a cheaper device that sits below the iPhone 5s or a modern smartphone that will be as powerful as the iPhone 6. The smaller display will lower the end cost, hence the market will get what Apple needs to offer now. In addition it will target people who want to manipulate a smartphone with one hand and female Apple fans.

Keep in mind, however, that this is just a rumor but the market gap is there so we might as well see one such device not that late in 2015.
