Microsoft’s entry into the mobile market can hardly become any more problematic than it is now – the first Lumia smartphone that carried the Microsoft logo and was launched a month ago – the Lumia 535 – has exhibited a problem that seems to come directly from the factory. Here’s what the phone does (or doesn’t do properly) – the sensor display has a hard time operating and this is especially true if you touch the display in a few points at the same time. This means that users are not able to select small display elements like menu buttons, enter text or use more advanced features of various applications.
Fortunately the problem seems to be a software one and what’s even better is that Microsoft has acknowledged it and is working on a solution. As of now the only way to improve the situation is to disable the Screen Magnifier function that is available in the Lumia 535 and is on by default.
