Some of the first pictures of the upcoming GeForce GTX 960 generation have reached the Internet and this time they are of MSI cards. The pictures show two MSI cards – the GTX 960 Gaming OC and the GTX 960 100ME (100 Million Edition) and both of them are based on the brand new NVIDIA GM206 GPU.
The preliminary specs of the cards list 2 GB of GDDR5 memory, a 128-bit memory interface and very low power consumption. There is no information on the clock speeds of the memory and the GPUs. The cards also feature a 4+1 phase VRM which draws power through a single 8-pin power connector as well as Twin Frozr 5 coolers and DVI, HDMI and 3 DP ports. The GTX 960 line will likely stick to 2 GB of memory and 128-bit memory interfaces and this is it.
The two MSI cards are expected on January 22, 2015, when the GTX 960 generation is expected to be officially unveiled.
