Corsair has shared plans to release “the world’s fastest DDR4 memory”, which is news that will be of great interest to overclockers and hardware enthusiasts. The new memory will belong to the company’s Dominator Platinum line and will run at 3400 MHz.
The upcoming memory will have aluminum DHX heatsinks and will be 56 mm tall. In addition to that it will support the latest Intel XMP 2.0 overclocking profiles and will run at 1.35V at 16-18-18-40 timings. The memory will be available as 4 x 4 GB memory kits with total capacity of 16 GB.
The new Corsair memory will be designed for use with Intel Haswell-E-based machines and will run fine with Intel Core i7-5960X, Core i7-5930K and Core i7-5820K processors. The memory will also be optimized for use in ASUS X99 Deluxe and Rampage V Extreme motherboards. It will come with lifetime warranty and will sell for USD 1000.
