While NVIDIA is battling the GeForce GTX 970 graphics card issues AMD prepares a new generation of graphics cards that will carry the Radeon Rx 300 brand name and variations of it. There isn’t an official launch date as of now but despite this some online stores have already listed the new 3D solutions by AMD, which gives us more information on the upcoming products.
Judging from all the web sites that have listed the new AMD graphics cards we will soon get at least three new models carrying the Radeon R9 390X, Radeon R9 380X and Radeon R9 370X brand names. More specifically CDON.com, which happens to be a major Swedish retailer, has listed two Radeon R9 380X cards by ASUS and MSI. An interesting fact is that this retailer has never listed an unreleased card before which is a strong indication that the R9 380X is on the way. A Norwegian online retailer has also listed the cards on the Internet, although we strongly suspect that these are just pre-order forms.
In any case the arrival of the R9 300 line on the Internet is a strong indication the new generation is on the horizon. Unofficially the new GPUs will be on the market in Q2 2015.
