The memory maker Apacer has presented the new Blade line of DDR4 memory modules, which as of now, can be used only with Intel’s new Haswell-E platform.
The Blade DDR4 memory modules impress with large black-and-red heat sinks that must take the heat off the memory chips and then transfer it to the ambient air. There are two capacities as of now – 4 GB and 8 GB per memory module. The less spacious 4 GB modules run at 2400, 2667, 3000 and 3200 MHz at latency of 16-16-16-36, while the 8 GB models operate at 2800 MHz at 17-17-17-36 latency. You can also get the new memory as memory kits with capacities of 16 GB and 32 GB.
No word on pricing as of now.
