ASUS has started the sales of a new STRIX GeForce GTX 750 Ti graphics card that comes with 4 GB of GDDR5 memory instead of the standard 2 GB.
The video card is codenamed Strix-GTX750Ti-DC2OC-4GD5 and measures 195.6 x 122 x 38.1 mm. Apart from the 4 GB of on-board memory the card hardly has any differences from “regular” GTX 750 Ti cards. It has a 28 nm GM107-400 Maxwell GPU with 640 CUDA cores, 40 TMUs and 16 ROPs and runs at 1124 MHz (1202 MHz Turbo) for the GPU and 5400 MHz for the memory, which is serviced by a 128-bit memory bus. A powerful DirectCU II cooler with two fans cools the GPU; the cooler runs only when the GPU temperature exceeds 50 degrees Celsius.
The new card is fully compatible with DirectX 11.2 and OpenGL 4.4 and supports GPU Boost 2.0, FXAA, TXAA, Adaptive Vertical Sync, CUDA, PhysX and 3D Vision. The card has one Dual-link DVI-I, one DisplayPort and one HDMI port in the back of it. It is worth noting that the STRIX GeForce GTX 750 Ti also uses the Super Alloy Power technology that includes very high quality components that prolong the card life and allow higher performance.
The new 4 GB GTX 750 Ti card is available in Europe now where it costs EUR 199.
