The famous web site VideoCardz.com, dedicated to various 3D graphics cards, has somewhat managed to get a hold of a yet unreleased AMD presentation, in which the upcoming third generation AMD graphics cards have been somewhat described. The big news is that the upcoming AMD flagship card, known as Fiji XT, will be called Radeon R9 390X, as previously expected.
The presentation also had some news that we have not heard of before. Apparently there will be a Radeon R9 390X WCE version too, which hints of a Radeon R9 390X card with water cooling too, hence the WCE abbreviation (Water Cooled Edition). Unfortunately this is everything we know right now.
The upcoming Radeon R9 390X is expected to have 4096 stream processors, full support for DirectX 12 Tier 3, H.265 hardware decoding and up to 8 GB of HBM (High Bandwidth Memory).
