GeIL has taken the chance to unveil its latest DDR4 memory at the on-going CeBIT 2015. The new memory is not your regular DDR4 memory, though – this time the memory modules come with integrated LEDs inside.
The light-emitting diodes have two main goals – to make your DDR4 memory look really cool and then to show the current memory chips temperature. The LEDs are available in two colors – white or blue – and when the memory temperature rises the intensity of the color chosen also goes up. This will allow users to have real time information on how hot the memory is and take precautionary measures if this is needed.
The new DDR4 LED-enabled memory from GeIL belongs to the so-called Super Luce memory line. Unfortunately there are no technical details whatsoever except that the memory, when released, will run between 2666 MHz and 3400 MHz. The Super Luce line is expected on the market in April or May this year.
