The Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi has presented the new Mi 4i smartphone, which happens to be a budget-oriented version of the Mi 4.
The new Mi 4i smartphone offers a plastic chassis that houses a Snapdragon 615 processor with eight 64-bit cores, four of which work at 1.1 GHz and the remaining four at 1.7 GHz. The device also has 2 GB of RAM, 16 GB of internal memory, a 5-inch Full HD IPS display (1920 x 1080 pixels, 441 ppi), a 13 MP rear F/2.0 camera, another 5 MP front F/1.8 camera, support for two SIM cards, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.1 and a 3120 mAh battery. The smartphone measures 138.1 x 69.6 x 7.8 mm, weighs 130 grams and runs Android 5.0 Lollipop under Xiaomi’s MI user’s interface.
The new Xiaomi Mi 4i 16 GB sells for USD 205, while the 16 GB Mi 4 costs USD 320.
