The maker of various memory peripherals Apacer Technology has demonstrated the new USB 2.0 AH115 and USB 3.0 AH156 flash drives. The devices bet on exclusive craftsmanship in order to catch attention and we can say they deliver – the form of the flash drives is inspired by the Sydney Opera House. In addition the new USB flash drives include an ergonomic rotating-curve peculiar holding strap-hole design to integrate elegant appearance, triple proof functions, and holding touch, making them a perfect match with ultra-slim notebooks.
The Sydney Opera design is hidden in the top contour of the AH156 and AH115 and Apacer says it redefines the characteristics of curve and arch. The unibody patented COB technology is applied to build the exquisite metal body to improve holding touch with full curve coverage. When light sheds on the curve surface, the texture and quality of zinc alloy are emphasized. “What we want to prove is, even a supermini body can bring superb holding touch through perfect design!” emphasized Apacer’s design team.
Thanks to the USB 3.0 interface the AH156 flash drive has no problems transferring large files and here the USB 2.0-enabled AH115 cannot compete. Both devices have strap holes as well that will help you keep the flash drives under control with a lower chance of losing them. Despite the small sizes of the devices, both the AH156 and AH115 deliver storage space – the devices feature capacities of 8 GB, 16 GB, 32 GB and 64 GB. In addition they meet all RoHS criteria and come with lifetime warranties.
Apacer has not disclosed pricing information so we can’t say how much the AH156 and AH115 cost.
