The Canadian maker of high-end notebooks Eurocom has launched the all-new Sky X9 gaming notebook on the market. The new notebook continues Eurocom’s tradition of launching gaming notebooks and comes with a large 17.3-inch display.
The new Sky X9 measures 419 x 286 x 45 mm and weighs 4.8 kilograms. The display inside the notebook works at up to 3840 x 2160 pixels and has 100 per cent Adobe sRGB coverage and 72 per cent NTSC coverage. The notebook is based on a powerful Intel Core i7-4710HQ Haswell quad-core processor at 2.5 GHz (up to 3.4 GHz in Turbo mode) and sports an Intel HM87-based motherboard and an integrated Intel HD 4600 GPU. Apart from this the Sky X9 comes with a choice of powerful dedicated GeForce graphics cards – GeForce GTX 980M with 4 GB of GDDR5 memory, GeForce GTX 970M with 3 GB of GDDR5 memory or GeForce GTX 965M with 2 GB of GDDR5 memory.
The notebook supports up to 64 GB of dual-channeled DDR3 memory and has enough space for up to four storage devices (two 2.5-inch and two M.2), and up to two GTX 980M graphics cards. There are three network controllers too – Killer E2400 and Killer M.2 Wi-Fi/Bluetooth.
The Sky X9 runs Windows 10 Pro 64-bit. There’s no word on pricing as of now.
