Maybe due to Black Friday or the upcoming holiday season AMD has cut the prices of all Radeon video cards that it has on the market now. This is the first serious price cut since the introduction of the Radeon 300 Series and the Radeon Fury generation this past summer and as with any other price cut this one is more than welcome.
Here’s how much you will save – the ultra high-end Radeon R9 Fury X now sells for USD 589, down from USD 649 and in certain cases you can get the card with a USD 20 rebate, which brings the price down to USD 569. The R9 Nano is also cheaper dropping from USD 649 to USD 569 and even to USD 549 with a USD 20 rebate. The Radeon 300 Series is also less expensive now – you can now get the R9 390X and R9 390 for USD 359 and USD 259 with mail-in rebates down from USD 429 and USD 329, respectively. The R9 380 2 GB and 4 GB models also get a price cut and now cost USD 169 and USD 179, correspondingly, but with rebates you can even have them for USD 139 and USD 159.
This is great news for AMD fans and people who want to get a new video card to game with during the holidays. We hear NVIDIA also plans to lower its prices so maybe it is a good idea to take a look at the green camp first before getting a new video adapter.
