Raidmax prepares Monster II PC chassis

The maker of PC chassis and power supplies Raidmax is working on a new PC chassis, online sources claim. There are just a few images of the new Raidmax chassis but they describe quite a bit.

The new chassis is called Monster II and judging from the pictures it is black-colored and has an acrylic window to the left as well as uneven front and top panels. The chassis supports ATX motherboards or smaller, CPU coolers that are as high as 180 mm, ATX-sized power supply units, up to seven PCI-E cards that are up to 400 mm long, two optical drives and two 3.5-inch or four 2.5-inch SSDs/HDDs. There also are two 120 mm cooling fans up front and in the rear. The Monster II features a special area inside that hides the cables that go to the front of the case, where users will find audio connectors and two USB 3.0 ports, and there’s special space inside that is reserved for hot air, generated from the hardware components in the chassis, that then goes out through the top panel.

The Raidmax Monster II is still in the works so there’s no information on when the case will be in stores or how much it will cost but judging from the fact that Raidmax boasts the case in Facebook as we speak, we doubt the Monster II is very far away.
