The famous maker of computer memory, PSUs and coolers Corsair has released the new Hydro Series H5 SF liquid CPU cooler. This is the first low-profile liquid CPU cooler to come out of Corsair and it brings the benefits of liquid CPU cooling to the smallest of PCs as well.
The Hydro Series H5 SF is designed for use with mini-ITX motherboards and can fit in very small cases thanks to its height of just 84 mm. The cooler consists of a water block with a copper base and there’s a built-in water pump as well, an aluminum heat sink that measures 167 x 40 x 57 mm and a 120 mm cooling fan that spins at 1000-1800 rpm, pushing between 12 and 24 cubic feet of air per minute at noise levels between 36 dB and 42 dB. Despite its small dimensions the Corsair Hydro Series H5 SF liquid CPU cooler can cool down processors with TDP of up to 150 watts and it even supports moderately overclocked processors.
The new cooler supports Intel LGA 115x and LGA 1366 processors as well as AMD AM and FM chips, except for AM1. The cooler’s copper cold plate features pre-applied thermal compound and low permeability tubing as well – this ensures long cooler life and the flexible design means you can install the Hydro Series H5 SF easily in tight spaces.
The Corsair Hydro Series H5 SF is now available for USD 79.99 with no sales tax added.
