The popular AnTuTu smartphone benchmarking tool has once again leaked the tech specs of an upcoming smartphone but this time the news is more that interesting – we are talking about the hardware of one of the versions of the upcoming Galaxy S7 smartphone. The information has been published on AnTuTu’s web page in the Weibo social network so there’s a really serious chance that the information provided is correct.
The modification of the Galaxy S7 that we are talking about is called SM-G935A and packs a Snapdragon 820 processor as well as a 5.1-inch display that works at 2560 x 1440 pixels. According to AnTuTu the handset also has 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal memory but there’s no information whatsoever whether there’s a microSD slot for expansion. In addition to this the smartphone comes with a 12 MP rear camera as rumors were saying, instead of the expected 16 MP shooter, but Samsung claims the less sensitive sensor will still provide better quality pictures than its predecessor. Finally the Galaxy S7 SM-G935A runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
The next generation Galaxy flagship is expected during Mobile World Congress 2016, which will take place in late February. The device should come in no less than four different versions.
