The maker of memory cards Lexar has announced the new Lexar High-Performance microSDXC UHS-I memory card, which has been designed for smartphones, tablets, sports camcorders and other devices in need of additional memory. The card also sports the generous capacity of 200 GB, which makes it a little hard to run out of space.
“Professional and everyday photographers are now more passionate about shooting high-quality video, on everything from digital SLRs to sports and aerial cameras,” said Steffi Ho, product marketing manager, Lexar. “With the Lexar 200 GB microSDXC UHS-I card, photographers can continue to capture and store large amounts of content on the go, without having to worry about running out of space.”
The new card reads at up to 95 MB/sec (633x) and has enough space to keep up to 17 hours of 4K and Full HD video or 33 000 photos or 28 000 songs. In addition to this the new memory card comes with a USB 3.0 card reader, which immensely eases the transfer of files from the card to a computer or other USB 3.0-enabled device. The reader has support for the older USB 2.0 standard and offers a 1-year warranty with it.
The new Lexar microSDXC UHS-I memory card comes with a limited lifetime warranty and includes a lifetime copy of Image Rescue software. The card can now be purchased for GBP 109.99.
