The US computer maker HP Inc. has introduced a large number of new Pavilion PCs that include desktops, convertibles and notebooks. The new Pavilion PCs offer more power and new features for families, students and professionals and keep the same great price-to-performance level that Pavilion PCs are known for.
“Some customers want thin and light PCs for on the go while other customers want power and performance to create and store,” said Kevin Frost, vice president and general manager, consumer personal systems, HP Inc. “HP’s redesigned Pavilion PCs offer affordability and a variety of options for customers to get the functionality they need in a PC packed with style and personality.”
HP’s Pavilion x360 is the first device, affected by updates. The 2016 version of this computer includes a new 15.6-inch display to the already known 11.6-inch and 13.3-inch versions. The new x360 generation is also 12-14 per cent thinner and lighter than previous generations – the 11.6-inch model now weighs 2.93 pounds and is 19.3 mm thin, while the 13.3-inch version weighs 3.48 pounds and is 19.8 mm thin. The new 15.6-inch x360 notebook weighs 5.07 pounds and is 23.9 mm thin. In addition to this all new Pavilion x360 notebooks feature a new digital thread pattern on the keyboard deck in a pearl coloring for added depth and style. The new HP Pavilion x360 notebooks are available with new colors too that include Dragonfly Blue, Cardinal Red, Sport Purple, Natural Silver and Modern Gold. Specs-wise the notebooks can come with up to 16 GB of RAM, up to Core i7 processors starting with Celeron and Pentium processors, up to 512 GB SSD or 1 TB hard drive storage and batteries that can last for up to 9 hours and 15 minutes.
The Pavilion notebooks are next – they are now available with 14-inch and 15.6-inch displays that are 11-22 per cent thinner and lighter than before. The 14-inch models start at 3.3 pounds and 19.5 mm of thinness, while the 15.6-inch models weigh 4.26 pounds and are 22.5 mm thin. There are two more versions here – more powerful 15.6-inch Pavilion notebooks and 17.3-inch models that weigh 4.62 pounds and 6.28 pounds, respectively with thickness of 24.5 mm and 29.9 mm, correspondingly. The new Pavilion notebooks can be equipped with up to Core i7 processors, up to 16 GB of RAM, up to 512 GB of SSD or 2 TB of hard drive storage, optical disk drives and up to GeForce GTX 960M mobile graphics. There are several colors to choose from too – Modern Gold, Blizzard White, Cardinal Red, Dragonfly Blue, Sport Purple, Onyx Black and Natural Silver.
HP now also offers two new Pavilion All-in-One computers with 23.8-inch and 27-inch displays with an edge-to-edge display or a micro edge display option on select models that further reduces the border 75 percent for more viewing area compared to the edge-to-edge display. The micro edge display tilts from -5 degrees to 25 degrees while the edge-to-edge display tilts from 0 to 25 degrees for a comfortable viewing experience. The new computers are equipped with up to Core i7 or AMD A10 processors, and can have up to 16 GB of RAM, up to 3 TB of hard drive storage or up to 1 TB of SSHD storage and up to GeForce GT 930A graphics.

The computers will be available in three colors – Blizzard White, Twinkle Black and Natural Silver.
