GeIL has announced a new DDR4 memory line called Evo Forza right after the company presented the new Evo-X DDR4 memory family. The new Evo Forza differs a lot from the Evo-X line, though – it has been designed for overclocking and targets hardware enthusiasts.
The Evo Forza DDR4 will be available in kits of two and four modules but users will also be able to purchase a single memory stick. GeIL says that the Evo Forza DDR4 line features much improved heat spreaders when compared to other competing solutions and this should help overclockers reach new performance heights. The heat sinks look the same as in other competing memory modules so maybe the material they are made of dissipates heat more efficiently.
The new GeIL Evo Forza DDR4 line will include memory modules with capacities of 4 GB, 8 GB and 16 GB, so the total memory you can get is up to 64 GB, situated in a quad-channeled kit. The memory runs at 2667-3866 MHz at 1.2-1.4V and supports Intel XMP 2.0.
There’s no information when the Evo Forza DDR4 memory will be in stores and how much it will cost but it is good news that this line offers a wide range of memory modules and speeds so there will be something for everyone.
