A week after Gigabyte announced the GeForce GTX 1070 G1.Gaming video card the Taiwanese company has unleashed this graphics monster onto this world. The card is known as GV-N1070G1 GAMING-8GD and comes with a superoverclocked GPU, RGB LEDs and the famous WindForce cooler.
The GeForce GTX 1070 G1.Gaming comes with 8 GB of GDDR5 memory on board and thanks to the overclocked GPU it beats the GeForce GTX Titan X. Like we said this Gigabyte card features the WindForce 3X cooler, which incorporates two composite copper heat pipes with direct touch to the GPU, a special fin architecture and a unique blade fan design that together deliver superior cooling performance. The 3D Active Fan provides semi-passive cooling, which allows gamers to enjoy gameplay in complete silence when the system is running light or idle. A LED fan indicator provides a user-friendly, instant display of the fan status. The card is also equipped with a metal back plate that offers rigidity and protection to the structure. The GeForce GTX 1070 G1.Gaming is further styled up with the GIGABYTE LED logo available in full-spectrum RGB. With 16.8M customizable color options and numerous lighting effects, gamers can enjoy maximum freedom to choose the right scheme for their gaming rigs using the XTREME Engine utility software. Moreover, thanks to the usage of high quality components the GeForce GTX 1070 G1.Gaming is overclocker-friendly. The card features 6+2 power phases that make the MOSFET work at lower temperatures and overclocking can be done via the XTREME Engine software – all you need to do is perform a single mouse click.
It is unclear right now how much the GeForce GTX 1070 G1.Gaming costs, which is perhaps the only current downside of this video card.
