BenQ has come up with a new gaming monitor that is called Zowie XL2735. Just the name of the device, which is a bit longer than usual, hints that this is not just another monitor. In fact the Zowie XL2735 is a monitor that has been designed for professional gamers.
The new BenQ monitor sports a 27-inch TN display that works at 2560 x 1440 pixels. The display offers 1 ms of response time, a dynamic contrast ratio of 1000:1 and brightness of 270 cd/m². The monitor works at 144 Hz of refresh rate without using NVIDIA’s G-Sync or AMD’s FreeSync technology. Instead the BenQ Zowie XL2735 uses the company’s DyAC technology, which supposedly makes the displayed images even better.
But this is not everything – the Zowie XL2735 monitor supports the so-called Black eQualizer technology, which improves the visibility of dark regions on the monitor, as well as Flicker-Free and Low Blue Light, which reduce display flickering and the emitted harmful blue light levels, respectively. The device also comes with a special S Switch panel that eases access to the monitor settings and two side panels that isolate the gamer from the environment and thus allowing them to easily win a game.
Sadly there’s no information when the BenQ Zowie XL2735 gaming monitor will be in stores and how much it will cost.
