Biostar has announced a new small-sized motherboard based on the Intel Z170 chipset. The new motherboard is called Racing Z170GTN and targets people who want to have a powerful Skylake computer in a small form factor chassis. Speaking of this the new Biostar Racing Z170GTN motherboard resembles the recently launched Biostar Racing B150GTN – a Skylake motherboard featuring the Intel B150 chipset.
The new Racing Z170GTN board comes equipped with LED lights and features the mini-ITX form factor. The motherboard has two DDR4-3200 memory slots for up to 32 GB of RAM, one PCI-E 3.0 x16 slot for video cards and an M.2 slot for Wi-Fi devices. For storage purposes the Racing Z170GTN offers four SATA 3.0 ports as well as U.2 and M.2 connectors with the two of them offering 32 GB/sec of bandwidth and support for NVMe. In addition to this the Racing Z170GTN has Intel I219V networking and a Realtek ALC892 sound chip.
The price of the new Biostar motherboard is unknown as of now.
