Someone close to Canon has apparently leaked the specs of the upcoming EOS M digital camera – one day ahead of launch.
If the information is correct the Canon EOS M will sport a 18 MP APS-C sensor, DIGIC-V technology, Phase and Contrast AF, Video Servo AF, a 3-inch touchscreen 1.04 million pixel display, ISO sensitivity between 100 and 12 800 (reaching 25 600 with expansion), SD card support, 1920 x 1080 video 30p/25p/24p, 1280 x 720 video 60p/50p, MPEG-4, AVC/H.264 and finally an adaptor at launch for EF lenses.
Additionally the Canon EOS M seems to make use of the same 18 MP sensor found in the Rebel T4i with pixel-level phase detection AF sensors in place.
Expect more information when the Canon EOS M gets officially launched.
