Samsung Electronics announced W200 Pocket Cam, which is prepared to go with you everywhere in the toughest conditions, thanks to its shock, water and dust-proof rugged body.
In the heart of the compact camera (60 x 113 x 19.7 mm) is a 5-megapixel BSI (Back Side Illuminated) CMOS sensor, along with F2.2 lens with anti-fog coating, and digital image stabilization. The camera is capable of capturing full 1080p videos, has 2.3-inch 230K dot LCD display and built-in 1,300mAh battery that offers 2hrs of continuous use. There’s also a microSD card slot, HDMI port and built-in USB arm.
The durable casing of the W200 offers waterproof up to three meters and can withstands falls from up to 2 meters. The camera comes with special Aqua Mode for underwater footage, that automatically sets the ideal parameters for the bright and clear underwater video, and Samsung’s Record Pause feature that allows pause briefly during filming and then resume from the exact same moment, while at the end footage will all be in the same file. There’s also and special Smart Filter effects – Vignetting allows users to fade the edges of shots and the well known Fish-Eye effect.
