Audio specialist Audio-Technica comes up with a new in-ear headphones that utilize company’s QuietPoint active noise-cancelling technology to reduce background noise by up to 90%.
The model is called ATH-ANC23 and feature a miniature microphone in each earpiece which detects environmental noise and applies a corresponding noise-cancelling signal. The headphones are fitted with 12.5 mm drives with 20 – 20,000 Hz frequency response and come equipped with Comply Foam Tips, which use a patented design and are made out of breathable memory foam that provide additional passive noise reduction and better bass response. Audio-Technica says that these Comply Foam Tips are 30 times softer than standard ear buds, providing “unmatched comfort” and remains in place even when jogging or exercising.
The headphones also have an in-line volume control, Y cablea with adjustable sleeve, gold-plated mini-plug, an airline adapter and come with soft interchangeable (small, medium and large) rubber ear tips, and soft carrying pouch.
