Corsair has expanded its list of new products once again these days by announcing a new solid-state drive line – the Neutron XTi. The SSDs in the line are not just everyday storage devices – designed for high performance they deliver excellent results and then more.
All new Neutron XTi solid-state drives are based on an ultra fast quad-core Phison memory controller and include MLC NAND flash memory. As expected they support the latest SATA 3.0 standard. The Neutron XTi line includes three models with capacities of 240 GB, 480 GB and 960 GB but in the near future Corsair will also add another 1920 GB model. Performance-wise the Neutron XTi solid-state drives reach 560 MB/sec of sequential read speed, 540 MB/sec of sequential write speed, 4K random read of up to 100 000 IOPS and 4K random write of up to 90 000 IOPS. To keep data safe the new Corsair SSDs also feature end-to-end data path protection (ETEP) technology that protects the entire data path within the SSD controller, power loss protection, static and dynamic wear-leveling, advanced garbage collection and more. In addition they are accompanied by Corsair SSD toolbox software.
The new Neutron XTi line is available now – the 240 GB model sells for USD 89.99, while the 480 GB and 960 GB models cost USD 159.99 and USD 329.99, respectively.
